The World's Smallest Political Quiz was designed by the Advocates for Self-Government. The quiz generates a lot of discussion. Pass it around at a party or dinner to start up lively conversations for the rest of the night. The quiz is designed to be unbiased because if everyone landed in the libertarian section no one would believe the results - only about 20% of the quiz takers land in the libertarian section, but if you are one of those 20% then you can find out more info about libertarianism at <http://www.self-gov.org/>
Catamount Software designed the Newton version of the World's Smallest Political Quiz for the Vermont Libertarian Party. The Vermont Libertarian Party uses the Newton and the WSPQ at state fair, county fairs, and other events as an outreach tool. People are asked to take the quiz, the Newton graphs the results, a dot in placed on a big graph to show the overall political leaning of the crowd, and contact info and demographics are filled in for followup by the VTLP.
Cost & Registering
LibertarianWare - the quiz is absolutely free to distribute and use. We ask that you give the quiz to as many people as you can. Hopefully, as more people take the quiz the more people will find out there are other choices besides the democrats (left) and republicans (right).
How To
WSPQ requires Newton OS 2.x.

If you are using WSPQ as an outreach tool...
A. The Show menu has options for Contact Info and Demographics.
B. Simple Prompting asks one question at a time. A couple questions are worded a little different so it is less confusing to the quiz taker. Also, the font is bigger so it is easier to read for people with bad vision.
C. Prefs has a check box for Beginner Mode. This mode will display extra prompts to help a non-Newton user work their way through the quiz.
D. The overview button and up/down scroll arrows do work.
E. Statistics will tabulate the results.
F. Once an outreach event is finished. Revelar Connection Utilities or Accordian (both by Revelar) can be used to upload the data to a Macintosh Filemaker Database Template which I included.
